Using the studio

The studio is free and works in your browser without an account. You can paint, undo, and replay your work as a timelapse. We may change, add or remove features over time.

Your drawings belong to you

You keep the rights to everything you create. When you publish a drawing to the gallery, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store it, show it and its timelapse on SlimberPaint, and feature it on the site and our social accounts (for example in Editor's choice). This licence ends when you delete the drawing, except for copies already shared before then.

Only publish work you made yourself, or that you have permission to share.

What's not allowed

Don't publish, comment or otherwise share anything that:

• is illegal, or encourages anything illegal;
• harasses, threatens or bullies someone, or targets them for who they are;
• is sexually explicit, or sexualises anyone under 18;
• copies someone else's work without permission, or passes it off as your own;
• is spam, advertising, or an attempt to mislead people;
• shares someone's personal information without their consent.

Don't try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the site, and don't scrape it in bulk.

We may remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or close accounts that repeatedly do.

Comments, ratings and follows

Be kind. Critique the work, not the person. Likes, favorites and follows should reflect what you actually think; don't use them to manipulate rankings.

Accounts

You need to be at least 13 to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens under your account. You can close your account at any time.

Reporting content

If you see something that breaks these terms, or you believe a drawing copies your work, email [contact email] with a link to it and an explanation. We'll look at every report and act on it where needed.

No guarantees

SlimberPaint is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and your work safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, so keep copies of anything that matters to you. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for lost work or data, that come from using the site.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you on the site before it takes effect, and the date at the top will change. These terms are governed by [governing law].
